With the advent of privacy regulations like the European Union's GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), it is more important than ever to follow good practices for maintaining the privacy of information.

Magpi works very hard to keep Magpi users' personal data safe, and to provide a platform where you can store personal information on others securely.  We use encryption, passwords, biometrics, and other tools for this purpose.

As a Magpi user, you must also work hard to ensure that you are not saving someone's personal information without their permission.  This means that you must

  • gain consent when collecting personal information
  • take care to keep that information secure

Keep in mind that even sharing a Magpi form with someone will result in their email address being stored in the Magpi system, and you must therefore have their permission before you share forms.
