In the Magpi+ mobile app, the system will try to upload data at three separate possible times:
- Right after you save a new data record (i.e. a completed form). This means when you are looking at a form and click either "Save" or "Save and Add Another".
- If you tap the Sync command in the side menu, the app will try to upload any un-uploaded data.
- Every few hours – the app will try to upload any un-uploaded data every few hours.
Note: in the Magpi+ Settings page, you can specify that the app should only sync when a wifi signal is present, and not via cellular data. This can save both battery life and also cellular data.
